I can be your mentor/coach as your project is coming into being or a developmental editor once you have a manuscript in place.

My main interests are fiction (including short stories) and memoir (specializing in narrative medicine, those processing grief or trauma through writing). 

I have lots of experience as a copy editor and proofreader as well, and could be available as needed at any stage for any kind of project, including textbooks, video game manuals, cookbooks, self-help, any kind of nonfiction.

Flat-fee rates will depend on what kind of shape your material is in and how much work you do yourself following my guidance vs how much hands-on editing you want from me. We can connect via email, phone, or zoom.

Generally, I would ask for sample pages, suggest various ways I could help, and come to agreement on timing and fee.
